There was an IT issue at the branch, due to which there were significant delays and I ended up having to drive to the location 3 times.
The staff originally could not locate the lock nut in my car (even though it was at the original location). Then due to the computer glitch computer displayed the wrong type of tyres. Even then, since the team did not see that mine were runflats, they said that they had the required tyres in stock. Then upon realising that I had runflats, they said they needed to be ordered, but in reality the computer was also showing the wrong size (r19), while the correct size (r18 RF) were in fact in stock. So because of this I had a lot of back and forth.
At the same time, Mark dealt with this very professionally and friendly, gave me a discount on tyre replacement, so in the end I was relatively happy with the overall outcome, despite this taking much more time than it had to.
Pretty disappointed with my recent visit. Went in to fix what I thought was a broken back light bulb. After waiting for 2 hours I get a call saying they were unable to fix the issue due to it being an 'electrical issue' which they do not do - not a broken bulb. Ok, I thought, & off I went.
I then went to K&J Garages down the road who kindly offered to see me on their closed day - took one look and explained how it was in fact a broken bulb. They managed to take off the fittings, change the bulbs and surprise surprise it worked. Simple. They said it was a slightly tricky fitting to get to which is probably, in my opinion, why Kwik Fit didn't bother or weren't trained well enough to figure out.
Don't waste your time at Kwik Fit when you can go to a much more experienced garage nearby. Such a shame as some of the staff are very kind at Kwik Fit but they always seem very busy and hectic.
I also managed to get new tires at Streatham Tires for a fraction of the price of the tires quoted at Kwik Fit.
Booked my car in for an MOT which was delayed by 4 days due to a mechanical issue at Kwik Fit. A member of staff contacted me and explained the situation and advised me to notify my insurers as my MOT would run out before the agreed alternative date. Helpful staff, very impressed by their customer service and communication throughout, and the MOT took only an hour to complete.

Telephone Kwik Fit Streatham this morning to request stock availability and appointment for Tyre replacement of Toyota Aygo x (vehicle registration LB73OCG) . The agent advised that they aren’t able to search stocks with vehicle registration number.
Having had Kwik fit search before, I decided to drive in on there specified first come first serve basis.
Later I decided to use West Norwood branch. Apart from dirty waiting room, I wasn’t given satisfactory service and received indirect verbal abuse/ mimicking (which I as Director would discipline as NOT representing customer service standards charter. Furious but booked vehicle in.
They weren’t with stock. And I was told nil stock everywhere which is contradictory to telephone conversation.

Why hasn’t Kwick Fit ordered tyres in case of my current emergency for motobility customers ?
Horrible experience here. My car failed an MOT due to what was told to me at the centre by Mark at the front desk as the “windscreen washer pump isn’t working” and “is out and needs replacing” in his own words. Something he said they can’t do as it means having to take the whole wing of the car off. After taking my car to an independent repairer I find out the issue isn’t the pump, the pump works fine, the wing of the car didn’t need to be taken off and the problem is purely electrical. With the time limit on the retest of the MOT expiring and all the time wasted waiting for a new pump, scheduling a repair on the pump that didn’t need doing due to their wrong advice, Mark and the manager Ashley tell me it’s not their fault and were not meant to know of the exact issue. How is that possible?! Kwik Fit can’t diagnose a windscreen washer fault correctly? They then tried to schedule me in for another MOT while I was constantly saying the repair hasn’t been done yet and say I would have to pay for it. My car is now off the road without an MOT and awaiting an actual repair from someone who knows what they’re doing. Waste of time, money and oxygen with these lot and I’m £44.50 down because of them. Absolutely incompetent and disgraceful service from this centre. Let alone the customer service which was shameful, no remorse or understanding from them WHATSOEVER. Just money, money, money matters to them. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. You’re better off going to a small local garage than these scammers.

The atmosphere is really great and although the team are busy they don’t mind if you wait while the job is being done.
Everything went incredibly smoothly. The mechanic set to work almost immediately and I was on my way in two shakes of a lamb's tail. They staff were polite and efficient too.
No value for money despite the premium price. Lack of transparency or explanation of the bill and work done. After living and owning cars on 3 continents the service at Kwikfit is horrendous. My car wasn't even washed or wiped or cleaned as a courtesy or as a part of the service. I regret ever patronising Kwikfit and will always deter my friends from your service
